ILLUSTRATION OF THE STORY OF THREE KINGDOMS TO INTERTEXTUALITY FOR THE CREATION OF CONTEMPORARY INSTALLATION ART

Abstract

In order to create contemporary installation artworks using the concept of intertextuality, a study was conducted on the literary stories and patterns of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms." The research employed methods such as literature review, investigation, interviews, and questionnaire surveys to explore the historical evolution of the story patterns in "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and their intertextual characteristics in artistic creation. The study analyzed the historical evolution of the story patterns and their intertextual characteristics in artistic creation, resulting in the creation of installation artworks that incorporate the story patterns of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" as design elements, using ceramics as the main material and embodying the six virtues ideology. This paper selected four story patterns from Romance of the Three Kingdoms - the Peach Garden Oath, the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage, the Empty City Ruse, and the Rescue at Changban Slope for study. These story patterns have been constantly interpreted and explained under the influence of different historical cultures over time, deriving many story patterns from Romance of the Three Kingdoms.The intertextual feature of each new story pattern from Romance of the Three Kingdoms is reflected in taking the story patterns in literature as the original text and conducting intertextual creative techniques - absorbing, quoting, and adapting.The researcher applied intertextual creative techniques, extracted the visual elements and moral connotations of the story patterns, and took the story pattern of the Peach Garden Oath as the creative theme for contemporary installation art practice.

งานวิจัยนี้ดำเนินการศึกษารูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวในวรรณคดีพงศาวดารสามก๊ก ด้วยแนวคิดสัมพันธบท เพื่อสร้างศิลปะการจัดวางร่วมสมัย วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยนี้คือ เพื่อศึกษาวิวัฒนาการทางประวัติศาสตร์และรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวในพงศาวดารสามก๊ก และลักษณะพิเศษทางสัมพันธบทของรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวในการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ วิเคราะห์ตัวละคร เรื่องราว รูปแบบของตัวละครในเรื่องพงศาวดารสามก๊ก และลักษณะพิเศษทางสัมพันธบทในการสร้างสรรค์เซรามิกในสมัยราชวงศ์หมิงและราชวงศ์ชิง และนำมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะร่วมสมัย สร้างผลงานศิลปะการจัดวางโดยใช้เซรามิกเป็นวัสดุหลัก และผสมผสานรูปแบบเรื่องราวตัวละครและสัมพันธบทของพงศาวดารสามก๊ก ผ่านการใช้วิธีการวิจัยเอกสาร วิธีการสำรวจ วิธีการสัมภาษณ์และวิธีการสำรวจแบบสอบถาม นอกจากนี้ยังวิจัยและวิเคราะห์วิวัฒนาการทางประวัติศาสตร์ของรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวในพงศาวดารสามก๊ก รูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวเหล่านี้ได้รับอิทธิพลจากประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมในช่วงเวลาต่าง ๆ ถูกนำมาตีความและอธิบายอย่างต่อเนื่องในกระบวนการทางประวัติศาสตร์ และทำให้เกิดรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวพงศาวดารสามก๊กมากมาย ลักษณะพิเศษทางสัมพันธบทใหม่ของรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวพงศาวดารสามก๊กต่าง ๆ สะท้อนให้เห็นโดยใช้รูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวในวรรณคดีเป็นหลักและใช้เทคนิคการสร้างสรรค์ทางสัมพันธบท ได้แก่ การรับเอา การอ้างอิงและการดัดแปลง ผู้วิจัยใช้เทคนิคการสร้างสรรค์ทางสัมพันธบท เพื่อสรุปองค์ประกอบทางทัศนศิลป์และความหมายแฝงทางศีลธรรมของรูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราว โดยใช้รูปภาพประกอบเรื่องราวคำสาบานในสวนท้อเป็นหัวข้อในการสร้างสรรค์เพื่อดำเนินการปฏิบัติทางศิลปะการจัดวางร่วมสมัย
