CONTAINER YARD SELECTION FOR PICKING EMPTY CONTAINER BY USING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS)

Abstract

This research aimed to study suitable routes and empty container yard. In accepting empty containers for loading products in Thailand and comparing the shipping routes and waiting times for empty containers of the company, a case study for decision-making in considering the selection of shipping routes and selecting the empty container yard. Which has the shortest distance and has the shortest waiting time for empty containers This research collects the Company's container transport data, case studies of past cargo vehicles (trailer), from May 2020 to November 2020, and route data. การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเส้นทางและลานตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่า ที่เหมาะสม ในการรับตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่าเพื่อไปบรรจุสินค้าในประเทศไทย และเปรียบเทียบเส้นทางขนส่งสินค้าและเวลาในการรอรับตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่าของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา เพื่อประกอบการตัดสินใจในการพิจารณาเลือกเส้นทางขนส่งสินค้าและเลือกลานรับ ตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่า ที่มีระยะทางสั้นที่สุดและมีระยะเวลาในการรอรับตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่า น้อยที่สุด การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลการขนส่งตู้คอนเทนเนอร์ของบริษัทกรณีศึกษา ข้อมูลรถขนส่งสินค้า (รถเทรลเลอร์) ในการขนส่งสินค้าที่ผ่านมาแล้วตั้งแต่เดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2563 - พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2563 และข้อมูลของเส้นทางการเดินรถ ระหว่างลานจอดรถขนส่ง สินค้า (รถเทรลเลอร์) ไปยังลานวางตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่า (Empty container storage yard) ของ สายเรือ D ในเขตแหลมฉบัง 3 ลานตู้ ดังนี้ ลานตู้ E ลานตู้ F ลานตู้ G และเส้นทางระหว่างลานวาง ตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่า (Empty container storage yard) ไปยังโกดังบรรจุสินค้า H จากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลการขนส่งสินค้าที่ผ่านมาแล้วทั้งหมด 7 เดือน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมประยุกต์ระบบสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ พบว่า ลานตู้ G เป็นลานตู้ที่มีความเหมาะสมมากที่สุด เพราะมีระยะทางและระยะเวลาในการเดินทางน้อยที่สุด รวมถึงยังใช้เวลาเฉลี่ยในการรอรับตู้คอนเทนเนอร์เปล่าน้อยที่สุดด้วย
