DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT AND PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY OF SECOND GRADE STUDENTS USING STEM EDUCATION

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) To study learning achievement before and after learning STEM Education 2) To compare learning achievement with the 70 percent criteria 3) To study problem solving ability before and after learning STEM Education. The participants consisted of 24 second grade students from Ban Yang En school, Rayong in the second semester of the 2024 academic year using cluster sampling. The research instruments were STEM Education lesson plan, achievement test, problem solving ability test. The data were analyzed by using the mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent sample, t-test for one sample.

The results of this research showed that: 1. The post-test scores after learning with STEM Education were statistically significantly higher than the pre-test at the .05 level. 2. The post-test scores after learning with STEM Education were statistically significantly higher than the 70 percent criterion at the .05 level. 3. The post-test scores of problem solving ability using STEM Education were statistically significantly higher than the pre-test at the .05 level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา ปีที่ 2 ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา 2) เพื่อศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังเรียนกับเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิด สะเต็มศึกษา และ 3) เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียน ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 โรงเรียนบ้านยางเอน จังหวัดระยอง ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2567 จำนวน 24 คน ได้มาโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา (STEM Education) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ ทางการเรียน และแบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหา สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าทีสองกลุ่มไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน และการทดสอบ ค่าทีกลุ่มเดียว

ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. คะแนนสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนที่เรียนโดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2. คะแนนสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนที่เรียนโดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา หลังเรียนสูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 70 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3. คะแนนสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาที่เรียนโดยใช้การจัดการเรียนรู้ ตามแนวคิดสะเต็มศึกษา หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
