PROBLEMS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT OF CHONBURI 3 SCHOOL CONSORTIUM UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE CHONBURI RAYONG

Abstract

This study employed a mixed methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research. The objectives were: 1) to study the problems related to the learning environment of Chonburi 3 school consortium under the secondary educational service area office Chonburi Rayong, 2) to compare the problems of the learning environment classified by gender, work experience, and school size of Chonburi 3 school consortium under the secondary educational service area office Chonburi Rayong, and 3) to propose guidelines for the development of the learning environment of Chonburi 3 school consortium under the secondary educational service area office Chonburi Rayong. The quantitative sample consisted of 291 personnel from the Chonburi 3 school cluster. The research instrument was a 35 item, five-point Likert scale questionnaire with item discrimination indices ranging from 0.36 to 0.77 and a reliability coefficient of .95 The qualitative sample included 8 participants selected through purposive sampling, and the data were collected using a structured interview form. The findings revealed that 1. The overall and specific aspects of the learning environment problems were rated at a high level. The top three aspects with the highest average scores were academic affairs, teaching and learning activities, and school buildings. 2. The comparison results showed statistically significant differences in learning environment problems by gender (overall and in the aspect of school buildings), by work experience (in the aspect of teaching and learning activities), and by school size (overall, and in the aspects of teaching and learning activities and academic affairs) at the .05 level of significance. 3. The proposed guidelines for developing the learning environment, as derived from expert input, consisted of four aspects: school buildings, teaching and learning activities, academic affairs, and health promotion.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี (Mixed Methods) ได้แก่ การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ และการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบปัญหาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง จำแนกตามเพศ ประสบการณ์ทำงาน และขนาดโรงเรียน และ 3) เพื่อหาแนวทางการพัฒนาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ มีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ บุคลากรของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง จำนวน 291 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถามแบบมาตรส่วนประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ จำนวน 35 ข้อ มีค่าอำนาจจำแนกรายข้อระหว่าง .36 - .77 และค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามเท่ากับ .95 การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ได้มาโดยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง จำนวน 8 ท่าน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง จำนวน 1 ชุด การวิจัยพบว่า 1. ปัญหาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง โดยรวมและรายด้าน อยู่ในระดับมาก เรียงลำดับค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยจากมากไปหาน้อย 3 อันดับแรก ได้แก่ ด้านวิชาการ ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน และด้านอาคารสถานที่ 2. การเปรียบเทียบปัญหาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง จำแนกตามเพศ โดยรวม และด้านอาคารสถานที่ แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 จำแนกตามประสบการณ์การทำงาน ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ .05 และจำแนกตามขนาดของโรงเรียน โดยรวม ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน และด้านวิชาการแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ .05 3. แนวทางการพัฒนาสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเรียนของกลุ่มโรงเรียนสหวิทยาเขตชลบุรี 3 สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาชลบุรี ระยอง จากผู้ให้ข้อมูล ซึ่งได้นำเสนอเป็นแนวทางได้ 4 แนวทาง คือด้านอาคารสถานที่ ด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน ด้านวิชาการ และด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ
