THE QUALITY OF LIFE ELDER IN BANKAENG SUBDISTRICT,MUANG SAKAEO DISTRICT,SAKAEO PROVINCE

Abstract

The study titled “Quality of Life in the Elderly of Bankaeng Subdistrict, Mueng Sa Kaeo District,Sa Kaeo Province” aimed to investigate and compare the level of the quality of life among 312 individual elders in Bankaeng based on gender, age, profession, income, marital status, and education. A survey questionnaire was used for data collection. The data analysis employed statistical methods including percentage, frequency, mean, t-Test, standard deviation, and One – Way ANOVA.

The research found that the quality of life in Bankaeng elders was at a high level overall. An examination of the quality of life in different aspects revealed that the environment aspect had the highest average score, followed by the physical, mental, and social relation aspects. When comparing the quality of life based on personal attributes of the elderly, the study found that that there was no significant difference in the quality of life related to gender, current income, and marital status. However, there was a statistically significant difference at the 0.5 level in the quality of life among the elders with differences in age, profession, and education level.

การวิจัยเรื่อง คุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง อำเภอเมืองสระแก้ว จังหวัดสระแก้ว มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง อำเภอเมืองสระแก้ว จังหวัดสระแก้ว และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง อำเภอเมืองสระแก้ว จังหวัดสระแก้ว จำแนกตามเพศ อายุ อาชีพ รายได้ สถานภาพสมรสและระดับการศึกษา จำนวน 312 คน โดยใช้กลุ่มตัวอย่างจากผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง จำนวน 312 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ร้อยละ ความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน t- Test และ One - way ANOVA

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า คุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง อำเภอเมืองสระแก้ว จังหวัดสระแก้ว โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า ด้านที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดคือด้านสภาพแวดล้อม รองลงมา คือ ด้านร่างกาย ด้านจิตใจ และด้านความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ผลการทดสอบความแตกต่างของคุณภาพชีวิตผู้สูงอายุในตำบลบ้านแก้ง อำเภอเมืองสระแก้ว จังหวัดสระแก้ว จำแนกตามลักษณะส่วนบุคคล พบว่า เพศ รายได้ปัจจุบันและสถานภาพสมรส ที่ต่างกันมีระดับคุณภาพชีวิตที่ไม่แตกต่างกัน และพบว่า อายุ อาชีพและระดับการศึกษา ที่ต่างกันมีระดับคุณภาพชีวิตที่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
