The Innovation Design for Medical and Wellness Tourism: Designated Areas for Pattaya City.

Abstract

Research titled "The Innovation Design for Medical and Wellness Tourism: Designated Areas for Pattaya City." had the objectives as follows.1) to present the analysis of differences and similarities in the innovation of world-class quality urban tourism design 2) To synthesize and classify factors in the develop ment of health tourism in all dimensions and then build on it to create a model of innovation and design of health tourism 3) To evaluate the proto -type model and test user satisfaction with the prototype model 4) To design an innovation manual for the design to formulate policies of relevant agencies that will be further implemented. The tools used in this research were interviews and questionnaires, and the statistics used were percentages, averages, and standard deviations. This research study is a mixed methods research. Research findings are as follows. 1. analysis of differences and similarities in world-class quality urban tourism design innovations. It was found that the study of world-class quality urban design data such as Toronto, England and Bath, England to promote health, urban design is often focused on landscaping with green spaces, focusing on designing an environment that has a positive effect on health.The use of renewable energy and more emphasis on sharing travel in public systems, such as the use of shared electric bicycles, the use of shared electric vehicles. Policies and urban design have been formulated and infrastructure has been adjusted by designing the city to have a space conducive to exercise, such as walking, using a bicycle, activities to promote the movement, to promote the quality of residents while putting policies in the area of power in the form of an active city. This is similar to the urban policy of Bangkok of Thailand which has adopted the urban design model of an active city for other areas. Most tourism innovations focus on creating new experiences, connecting the area with technology that focuses on creating new experiences. In addition, the researcher compared the data of case studies to create a comparative data of urban design approaches to promote health and innovation in urban design at the world to create new urban design and innovation guidelines and to suggest a model for the development of Pattaya City policy and apply it to other cities that want to promote health tourism. 2. Classification of factors in the development of health tourism in all dimensions and then building on the development of innovative model guidelines for health tourism design. From the in-depth interviews, it was found that Pattaya City has a lot of potential and tourism readiness such as Thai Massage, Traditional Medicine, the use of art and crafts in therapy. Nong Pla Lai community is famous for creating Khon works and making herbal products including the communities scattered around Pattaya City with many activities that are in line with health tourism. However, both Thai and foreign tourists still lack awareness. There is a lack of media that is a specific intermediary in promoting true health tourism. In addition, the researchers have realized that the creation of a clear color identity will affect communication at the level of recognition or the creation of universal specificity has led to many applications in the field of design and can be improved further. Therefore, the researcher analyzed and used the research data to deconstruct the urban identity in the form of creating color identity and art to be used as a design guide for interested designers and develop a digital media platform for tourism to help connect urban areas, activities, culture, and local identity to tourism target groups. 3) evaluation of the prototype model and testing of user satisfaction with the prototype model, it was found that the overall evaluation of application user satisfaction was very high and satisfied with the provision of information on health tourism attractions and health tourism activities of the targeted Pattaya Special Area of appropriately and completely. 4) Based on this research, the researcher has prepared a manual which is divided into 2 manuals as follows. 1. Application manual and 2. Urban design manual, urban color and identity, in the form of book printing and electronic publication by those who are interested can use the information to further design work and innovation for design to policy formulation of relevant agencies that will be further developed into use.

การวิจัยเรื่อง "นวัตกรรมการออกแบบสำหรับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพพื้นที่พิเศษเมืองพัทยา" นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อนำเสนอประเด็นการวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างและความคล้ายในนวัตกรรมการออกแบบการท่องเที่ยวเมืองคุณภาพระดับโลก 2) เพื่อสังเคราะห์จำแนกปัจจัยในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพในทุกมิติแล้วต่อยอดเพื่อสร้างแนวทางโมเดลต้นแบบนวัตกรรมการออกแบบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ3) เพื่อประเมินโมเดลต้นแบบและทดสอบความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ที่มีต่อโมเดลต้นแบบ 4) เพื่อออกแบบคู่มือนวัตกรรมสำหรับการออกแบบสู่การวางนโยบายของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอันนำไปต่อยอดสู่การใช้งานต่อไป เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์และแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Methods Research) การวิจัยพบว่า 1.การวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างและความคล้ายในนวัตกรรมการออกแบบการท่องเที่ยวเมืองคุณภาพระดับโลก พบว่า การศึกษาข้อมูลการออกแบบเมืองคุณภาพระดับโลก เช่น เมืองโตรอนโต (Toronto) ประเทศอังกฤษ,เมืองบาธ ประเทศอังกฤษ ด้านการออกแบบเมืองเพื่อส่งเสริมด้านสุขภาพนั้นมักจะออกแบบเมืองโดยเน้นการวางภูมิทัศน์ให้มีพื้นที่สีเขียวเน้นการออกแบบสภาพแวดล้อมที่เกิดผลดีต่อสุขภาพ การใช้พลังงานทดแทนและเน้นการแบ่งปันการเดินทางในระบบสาธารณะมากขึ้น เช่น การใช้จักรยานไฟฟ้าแบบแบ่งปัน การใช้รถยนต์ไฟฟ้าแบบแบ่งปัน มีการวางนโยบายและออกแบบเมืองปรับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานโดยออกแบบเมืองให้มีพื้นที่ที่เอื้อต่อการออกกำลังกายเช่น การเดิน การใช้จักรยานการทำกิจกรรมร่วมส่งเสริมการเคลื่อนไหว ส่งเสริมคุณภาพของผู้อยู่อาศัยพร้อมทั้งวางนโยบายในส่วนของการพลักดันในลักษณะเมืองกระฉับกระเฉง ซึ่งจะคล้ายคลึงกับการวางนโยบายเมืองของกรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทยที่มีการใช้รูปแบบการออกแบบเมืองต้นแบบเมืองกระฉับกระเฉง ซึ่งจะเป็นแนวทางให้กับการออกแบบพื้นที่อื่นๆ การศึกษาด้านการท่องเที่ยวส่วนใหญ่จะเน้นการสร้างประสบการณ์ใหม่เชื่อมโยงพื้นที่ด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่เน้นด้านการสร้างประสบการณ์ใหม่ นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการเปรียบเทียบข้อมูลด้านกรณีศึกษานำมาสร้างตารางข้อมูลเปรียบเทียบแนวทางการออกแบบเมืองเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาพและนวัตกรรมการออกแบบเมืองระดับโลก สร้างแนวทางการออกแบบเมืองและนวัตกรรมใหม่และเพื่อเป็นการเสนอแนะต้นแบบแนวทางการพัฒนาเชิงนโยบายเมืองพัทยาและนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับเมืองอื่นๆ ที่ต้องการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพต่อไป 2. การจำแนกปัจจัยในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพในทุกมิติแล้วต่อยอดเพื่อสร้างแนวทางโมเดลต้นแบบนวัตกรรมการออกแบบการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพจากการลงพื้นที่สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกพบว่าเมืองพัทยามีศักยภาพและความพร้อมด้านการท่องเที่ยวเป็นอย่างมาก เช่น ชุมชนตะเคียนเตี้ยมีศาสตร์การรักษาในลักษณะกัวซา การนวดแผนไทย การรักษาแบบหมอพื้นบ้าน การใช้ศิลปะและงานประดิษฐ์ในการบำบัด ชุมชนหนองปลาไหลที่มีความโด่นเด่นด้านการสร้างงานโขนและการทำผลิตภัณฑ์สมุนไพร รวมไปถึงชุมชนที่กระจายโดยรอบเมืองพัทยาที่มีกิจกรรมที่สอดคล้องกับการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพอีกมากมาย แต่นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งไทยและต่างชาติยังขาดการรับรู้ ขาดสื่อที่เป็นตัวกลางเฉพาะในการประชาสัมพันธ์ด้านการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพอย่างแท้จริง นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยได้เล็งเห็นว่าการสร้างอัตลักษณ์สีที่ชัดเจนจะส่งผลต่อการสื่อสารในระดับการสร้างการจดจำ หรือการสร้างความเฉพาะเชิงสากล นำไปสู่การประยุกต์ใช้ในด้านการออกแบบที่หลายหลายและต่อยอดได้ ผู้วิจัยจึงได้ทำการวิเคราะห์นำข้อมูลการวิจัยมาใช้ในการถอดอัตลักษณ์เมืองในลักษณ์การสร้างอัตลักษณ์สีและเรขศิบป์เพื่อใช้สำหรับเป็นแนวทางในการออกแบบสำหรับนักออกแบบที่สนใจ และ พัฒนาสื่อดิจิทัลแพลตฟอร์มด้านการท่องเที่ยวเพื่อช่วยเชื่อมโยงพื้นที่เมือง กิจกรรม วัฒนธรรม และความเป็นอัตลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นส่งต่อสู่กลุ่มเป้าหมายด้านการท่องเที่ยว 3) การประเมินโมเดลต้นแบบ และทดสอบความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ที่มีต่อโมเดลต้นแบบ พบว่าการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานแอพพลิเคชั่นในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากและมีความพึงพอใจในด้านการให้ข้อมูลสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ และกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพของพื้นที่พิเศษเมืองพัทยาที่น่าสนใจอย่างเหมาะสมครบถ้วน 4) จากการวิจัยนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการการจัดทำคู่มือ โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 คู่มือ ได้แก่ 1.คู่มือการใช้แอปพลิเคชัน(Application) 2. คู่มือการออกแบบเมือง สีและอัตลักษณ์เมือง ในลักษณะการจัดพิมพ์รูปเล่มและแบบสิ่งพิมพ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์โดยผู้ที่สนใจสามารถนำข้อมูลไปใช้ต่อยอดงานด้านการออกแบบได้ นวัตกรรมสำหรับการออกแบบสู่การวางนโยบายของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอันนำไปต่อยอดสู่การใช้งานต่อไป
